Went to smoke some trout and was met with a colony of ants. I love covering my traeger but bugs seem to love it more. I can’t be the only one to experience this.

Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

Anything from bear mountain should work well.

I find Raid or Black Flag gives a nice flavor.

Normally, I’d say kill it with fire. So I’ve got good news for you!

Flys love my grill. It’s the food. Not the smoke.

Sticking with the Kirkland pellets like every other cook. They have yet to let me down.

I recommend cooking hot and fast to get the crispy exoskeleton crunch. I recommend a sweet bbq rub.

I supposed an ant infestation is better than finding a mouse living in the burn pot.
